The historical origin of hoes

During the Neolithic period, our ancestors had already invented hoes made of stone for planting crops. After the Han Dynasty, because stone hoes were less durable, the Han people replaced stone hoes with iron hoes, which greatly increased their durability.

The hoe is divided into two parts. The first part is the "hoe blade", which is the place used for loosening soil and weeding. The hoe blade is flat and long in shape, just like a kitchen knife, which is a quadrilateral kitchen knife shape. This is the most normal hoe, but there are also some special ones, such as rectangular, narrow and long, ladder shaped, etc., while the "handle" is the second part. The handle is a round wooden stick made of hardwood, which is very hard.

The handle is used to fit into a hole at the back of the hoe blade to support it. The length of the handle can range from 80 centimeters to 160 centimeters, and it can be long or short. However, it is more convenient to grow it, as this way farmers do not have to bend down and work so hard.
